Reigning Major League Soccer champions Sporting Kansas City have confirmed a date with Premier League giants Manchester City.
SKC will host the Eastlands outfit at Sporting Park on July 23, 2014 in an exhibition match which will take place just before City compete in the 2014 Guinness International Champions Cup.
Sporting head coach Peter Vermes was delighted to have Manuel Pellegrini's classy squad coming to Kansas City in what promises to be a great test for the 2013 MLS Cup winners.
"It is a pleasure to host a world-class club like Manchester City," Vermes said in a release.
"It will be a great event not only for our fans, but our players as well to measure ourselves against one of the best teams in all of soccer."
