MLS CBA may push Seattle Sounders star Ljungberg to Europe

The MLS's collective bargaining agreement could push Seattle Sounders star Freddie Ljungberg to Europe. The former Arsenal star is already a confirmed target for Italy's Livorno, while there are clubs in his native Sweden also keen.

The Seattle Times says Ljungberg could find himself returning to Europe to play if Major League Soccer cannot reach a deal on a new collective bargaining agreement with the players union by the Jan. 31 deadline.
