MLS beckons for Wolves keeper Hahnemann

Wolves keeper Marcus Hahnemann admits he could move to the MLS when his contract at Molineux expires. The 38-year-old's current deal is set to finish at the end of the season and a return to his native United States could be on the cards.

Hahnemann, who moved to the Midlands outfit after a spell at Reading, says he will make the decision with his family but is not ruling anything out.

"I'll see what the team and what the family want to do," he told the Sunday Mercury.

"There are two new MLS teams - one in Portland and one in Vancouver - and I don't know if it is time (to return).

"Seattle has a team now - and Seattle is my home town. Kasey Keller is there now playing at the age of 40.

"My first pro team was the Seattle Sounders before the MLS was around in 1994.

"There might be a combination of things that could happen. Initially when I came to England the thought was that I'd go back and play in the MLS. So who knows?"
