An MLS move could be on for former Manchester United and Manchester City midfielder Owen Hargreaves.

The Daily Express says it is believed that Hargreaves favours a move to the USA so he can be closer to his family.

He said: "Yes. They want me to go and play over there.

"It is a big move, you have to decide do you want to make the move, a big change. There are so many things I could do there and it would be nice to spend time in Canada.

"I am fit but having focused so much on football since I was 15, I am just taking a step back."
