MLS announced Generation adidas and College senior signings

Major League Soccer has announced the names of ten players who have signed with the competition ahead of the 2012 MLS SuperDraft.

Major League Soccer has announced the names of ten players who have signed with the competition ahead of the 2012 MLS SuperDraft.

Five Generation adidas players and five College seniors have all agreed deals with MLS and will be available for selection in the draft on January 12 in Kansas City.

The lists below are the players signed:

2012 Generation adidas class

Sam Garza, 22-year old forward from UCSB, Hometown: Highland Village, TX
Chandler Hoffman, 21-year old forward from UCLA, Hometown: Birmingham, AL
Darren Mattocks, 21-year old forward from Akron, Hometown: Portmore, Jamaica
Kelyn Rowe, 20-year old midfielder from UCLA, Hometown: Federal Way, WA
Andrew Wenger, 21-year old forward from Duke, Hometown: Lititz, PA

College seniors signed

Tony Cascio, 21-year old midfielder from UConn, Hometown: Gilbert, AZ
Nick DeLeon, 21-year old midfielder/forward from Louisville, Hometown: Phoenix, AZ
Luis Silva, 23-year old midfielder from UCSB, Hometown: Los Angeles, CA
Casey Townsend, 22-year old forward from Maryland, Hometown: Traverse City, MI
