MLS announce official snacks partnership

Major League Soccer (MLS) has announced a new multi-year partnership with the Kellogg Company, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.

Under the deal, announced ahead of the new MLS season, which begins this week, Kellogg's Cheez-It and Pringles brands will be designated as the official snacks of the league.

Both brands will be integrated in video and other content across MLS' digital platforms, while they will also be promoted on-site in league stadiums and at key MLS events.

As part of the partnership, the two brands will serve as the focal point for a fan competition called Kick It with The Pros Sweepstakes, with five supporters winning a VIP trip to this year's MLS All-Star week in Chicago.

"Cheez-It and Pringles are storied brands with a shared history of delivering fun and engaging experiences that bring sports fans together," Carter Ladd, the vice president of business development for MLS, said in a statement.

"This partnership will serve passionate soccer fans across the country who are hungry to get closer to the game they love, and we're excited to welcome both brands to the MLS family."
