MLS has released the names and countries of the 24 players invited to the first-ever Caribbean Combine.
The three-day event, in partnership with the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) will take place from January 2-4, 2014, at the Antigua Recreation Grounds in St. John's, Antigua.
The idea of the combine is to give MLS scouts a closer look at players, ranging in age from 18-21, from 16 different Caribbean nations.
Players will compete in games and participate in a training session in front of MLS scouts with an eye toward earning an invitation to the annual adidas MLS Player Combine in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., from January 10-14.
