Mladen Petric was delighted with his debut double in Fulham's 5-0 thumping of Norwich City.
Damien Duff got things going and Alex Kacaniklic and Steve Sidwell also found the net following Petric's brace.
"I am very happy," Mladen told fulhamfc.com after the game. "Not only because of my performance, but because we had an amazing start today which will be very important for us throughout the rest of the season.
"All of us played a very good game; we defended very well - I think they had just one or two chances to score - and we scored five goals which means that we played very well today. I'm happy that we didn't concede and I'm especially happy for Alex Kacaniklic that he scored his first goal today.
"I'm happy I was able to provide the assist but most important were the three points and that we played a good game altogether as a team. It wasn't just one or two of us who played well."
