Mkhitaryan, Rashford, Pogba and co. bounced back for Man Utd - Neville

Former Manchester United star Phil Neville feels that some previously criticised United players produced encouraging performances in the 3-0 win over Sunderland on Sunday.

Neville reserved special praise for the likes of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Marcus Rashford, Marouane Fellaini and Paul Pogba following United's first win in three league games.

"They have taken a real battering this week in terms of confidence," said Neville on Sky Sports.

"They passed the ball really well and they have got two or three players today who have come back into a little bit of form - Mkhitaryan looked bright, Rashford got his goal, Martial has come on and caused problems, Fellaini played really well.

"And I think it was a really professional performance and even Pogba, who has taken a lot of stick this season, played a sensible game. Six or seven out of 10, a brilliant ball forward for Rashford's goal."
