Henrikh Mkhitaryan knows very well that he simply has to continue performing for Jose Mourinho's Manchester United.
The attacking midfielder has started three of the past four matches for the Red Devils and has impressed in all three outings against Feyenoord, West Ham United and Everton.
After a slow start to life at Old Trafford, the Armenian is beginning to vindicate United's decision to buy him from Borussia Dortmund but he is aware of the cut-throat nature of being a player at a club of such standing.
"I hope so because it is really very important to play in every game, doing your best, because if you are not going to do your best then you are not going to play in the next game," he told Sky Sports News HQ.
"The manager has a lot of choice, he has five or six players in that position but I know that playing now I know what I have done bad in the past and what good I can do in the future.
"So I know how I can help the team and I will be doing my best."
Mkhitaryan could again start for United when they meet Zorya Luhansk in the Europa League on Thursday night.
