English League One club MK Dons are hoping to make a double signing of Dundee United pair Paul Dixon and Scott Robertson.

25-year old left-back Dixon and 27-year old midfielder Robertson are set to depart Tannadice at the end of the season and could reunite with former Terrors boss Alex Rae who is now on the coaching staff at Milton Keynes.

Dixon has confirmed that he will leave United at the completion of the Scottish Premier League campaign and is keen on finding a club in England.

"I've made my mind up that I'll be moving at the end of the season. I've had four great seasons at United, so I'll leave with a heavy heart," he said.

"But I feel it's time for me to move on and get a new challenge elsewhere.

"I'd like to go to England, but that depends on offers to go down there."

MK are still a chance of gaining promotion to the Championship with League One play-offs against Huddersfield Town commencing this weekend.
