MK Dons boss Karl Robinson feels the Premier League is in for a shock when it comes to new Sunderland manager Paolo di Canio.

Robinson has warned Premier League chiefs that they're in for a shock when they face the ex-West Ham striker on the sidelines.

"The way Paolo Di Canio conducted himself was out of order at times," he told talkSPORT. "I think he was after a move a long, long time ago.

"When you're stood on the touchline you've got a job to do for your team. I don't get involved too much with opposition managers. I've got so much respect for managers.

"I don't feel the need to go and smash up the dugout, to try and out psyche the opposition manager.

"He has his own unique style. He's obviously gone from League One to the Premier League and that's because of the ability that people see [in him]."
