MK Dons boss Robinson up for Cup upset against crisis-hit Man Utd

MK Dons boss Karl Robinson fancies pulling off a Capital One Cup upset against Manchester United on Wednesday night.

Scouser Robinson is going to embrace and enjoy every single second of the biggest occasion in MK Dons history, the first time their impressive stadium will be sold out with close to 30,000.

"I don't to mean to sound a little bit silly but these are nights that you do not forget for the rest of your life, regardless of where my career goes, if it does or does not go anywhere," says Robinson.

"Louis van Gaal and his staff have been there, seen it and done it. I have ambitions to be the best I can possibly be, and who knows where that goes?

"I believe in what I do, in my own ability, in my staff, in the way I want to play, and it will be an opportunity for me. But I will have to take a breath at some stage and think, 'This is a little bit surreal'. People keep saying to me, 'What is your gameplan?' I am going to church and I will say a few prayers."
