MK Dons boss Paul Ince has played down rumours linking him with the vacant manager's job at Championship club Queens Park Rangers.

The former England international joined the Dons in the summer and has guided them to the top of the League Two table.

However, Ince has angrily rejected the speculation and insists he is focused on the job in hand at MK Dons.

"Someone's in a job and they obviously look at managers who are doing okay and just put two and two together and put it in the papers," Ince told the Milton Keynes Citizen.

"And all of a sudden you just get speculation about nothing really.

"We're trying to do a job here, we don't need speculation like that to disrupt what we're trying to do at this club."
