Miroslav Klose has signed a new deal with Lazio.

The Biancocelesti have revealed that the former Bayern Munich has penned a one-year extension at Stadio Olimpico.

The deal also includes the possibility of another year.

"I am very happy to be a part of this major project," Klose told the club's official website.

"I still have an important role to play here."
