Tahj Minniecon is delighted he made the move to Gold coast United.
The 20-year old winger joined the new A-League franchise in January, crossing from state rivals Brisbane Roar, and says his decision was the right one, especially after seeing how the Roar have turned into a somewhat 'dirty' team.
"In the past couple of years the Roar had the reputation of playing the best football in the A-League," Minniecon said.
"This year they just seem to be going out to kick people. It doesn't look good and it doesn't look like the old Roar.
"I'm very happy to be with the Gold Coast."
Gold Coast takes on the Roar this weekend and Minniecon is excited about the big clash.
"I know I'm in the plans of the coach (Miron Bleiberg), so I can't wait to get out there. The Roar are very vulnerable without so many players," he said.
