Minnesota United FC will host an exhibition match against Swansea City of on July 19 at the National Sports Centre in Blaine, the club announced on Thursday. This will be the first time a Premier League team has played against a Minnesota pro team as well as the first time against a team from United's North American Soccer League, said United president Nick Rogers.
"Hosting friendlies against exciting opponents is just what good soccer clubs are supposed to do," Rogers said. "We are very excited that we are able to attract an opponent of this calibre."
