Mini derby ends all square between Man City U23 and Man Utd

The mini derby finished all square between Manchester United and Manchester City on Friday.

United and neighbours City warmed up for the senior action with a 1-1 draw at the Etihad Stadium at Premier League 2 level.

The Reds' Reserves went ahead in the first half through Matty Willock, soon after a tactical reshuffle by coach Warren Joyce, but the Blues levelled through substitute Brahim Diaz to ensure the spoils were shared.

Kieran O'Hara featured for United in place of Sam Johnstone, who could be on the bench for the main game due to Sergio Romero's late return from international duty with Argentina.
