Manchester City midfielder James Milner says they must keep up the pressure on Premier League leaders Chelsea.
Milner has urged Manuel Pellegrini's men to keep the pressure on Chelsea in the Premier League and be ready to pounce if Jose Mourinho's pace-setters slip up.
The England winger said: "You're never going to go throughout the whole season playing well, you have ups and downs, but it's all about how you get through that.
"It could play into our hands. We just want to keep doing our job and keep churning out the results to stay as close as we can to Chelsea.
"They've started very well, but I'm sure they'll have a dip in form during the season as well, so we have to make sure we're there ready to take advantage of that if it happens."
