Manchester City midfielder James Milner is set to leave the club this summer.

Varying reports suggest that the England international, 29, will depart the Etihad Stadium when his contract expires at the end of the season and could make his way to either Arsenal or Liverpool.

A recent report in The Sun suggests that former Aston Villa ace Milner prefers a shift to the Emirates Stadium to join the Gunners who have been showing interest for most of the season as the Reds remain in the queue.

Milner has been a bit-part player under Manuel Pellegrini, making a total of 58 Premier League appearances over the past two seasons, with just 26 of those being starts.
