James Milner praised Liverpool for again showing character to get a result after finding themselves behind late against Chelsea at Anfield.
The Reds forced a 1-1 draw with the visiting Blues courtesy of Christian Benteke's injury-time header which cancelled out Eden Hazard's sublime run and finish just after the half-hour mark.
It was another strong finish to the game from Liverpool, as they have produced in recent Europa League ties, which was the most pleasing aspect for midfielder Milner who admitted Jurgen Klopp's side was a little off their usual game tonight.
"Disappointed not to win the game," he told LFC TV.
"They are obviously a good team but we know we can pay better than we did.
"We showed in patches what we can do but I think we were a yard or two off it tonight for whatever reason.
"It's a bit disappointing but we've shown that character again to keep going until the end to get a point."
The result kept Liverpool in eighth position on 59 points, one behind seventh-placed Southampton and 10 clear of ninth-placed Chelsea with one fixture remaining in the 2015/16 season.
