Milner expects England to do the business in WC qualifiers

James Milner is confident that England can win their games in San Marino and Montenegro and take a decisive step towards the 2014 World Cup. "These are two big games for us and we're moving forward all the time and that's a positive. You'll see improvements in the team," he told Sky Sports News HD.

"Both games will be great, the sort you want to play in and they're tough games. It's important we keep doing the right things."

"We still have a strong squad, the players coming in are decent so I have no worries at all.

"Whenever Joleon (Lescott) plays he is ready to go, I see it every day at City. Steven Taylor deserves his chance too, he's been playing well and I know him from Newcastle.

"Hopefully we can score an early goal against San Marino and then get a few more. All we can do is beat them and take it into Tuesday.

"As long as we have a strong squad we have enough quality. We need to make sure we keep our discipline and concentrate on the football. These teams will try and take advantage of these things."
