James Milner says Manchester City will go into the derby with Manchester United full of confidence.
City will face United on the back of their 3-0 victory over West Brom.
"It's obviously a massive game. It's one everyone wants to win. It will be a tough game and it's up to us to go there, perform and try and get a result," Milner said.
"We are confident and we have world-class players all the way through the side. We have younger players and older players and it's a good mix here.
"They are a top team, they have the experience of winning titles. They are looking to do that again and it's up to us to go and put a spanner in the works.
"We know we can keep improving and we will do that. We work hard in training and we have great scope to go on and become even better. I think that's the main thing, to move forward as a team."
