Liverpool ace James Milner has scored 41 league goals in his Premier League career and holds a record of not losing any of those games.

On Wednesday night, the midfielder scored in the 3-0 win over his previous club Manchester City and later admitted that he was worried of jinxing his streak.

When asked if he was aware of his record he told BT Sport: "I actually read it in the programme before the game.

"I thought that I was going to jinx it and break it! But luckily enough it carried on and long may it continue."

Milner added his side's second goal in the 41st minute after Adam Lallana's opener seven minutes earlier before Roberto Firmino added a third in the second half as the Reds ran riot at Anfield.
