Aston Villa midfielder James Milner is confident they won't suffer next season from having so many players feature in the World Cup this summer.
With the likes of Stewart Downing, Ashley Young, Stephen Warnock and Gabby Agbonlahor also in contention, and Brad Guzan set to feature in the USA squad, a number of Villa's players could be set for international action this summer.
But Milner insists the club will do everything possible to keep the players fresh.
"The manager is very good," he told Villa's website. "He looks after you and gives you time off when he gets chance. We are very lucky to have a manager who understands that.
"Most of the time it's in the legs but it's mental as well. If you are training and travelling all the time and it's games every three days it's important you have that down time to keep you fresh.
"We have played a lot of games this year, we have been on the road a lot and in countless hotels but that's exactly the way you want it because it means you're successful.
"We're very well looked after. We have the masseurs, the sports scientists, the ice baths and things like that."
