Millwall trials for Norwich target Ashley Nadesan

Millwall have jumped ahead of Norwich City in their interest for Horley Town striker Ashley Nadesan.

The Daily Mail says Millwall are giving a trial to Nadesan.

The 22-year-old, who works in McDonald's, has scored 50 goals this season for the Combined Counties League Premier Division side, and has drawn scouts from Norwich City, Brighton, Colchester and Crawley Town among others.

Horley Town manager Anthony Jupp told the Crawley News: "It's an exciting time for him and we are going to do whatever we can to help him out.

"If he needs permission to talk to a club or go on a trial then that's fine because we want what is best for him.

"He has been with us for four years now, one with the youth team and three with the first team, and each season he has improved but we know there is a ceiling on that.

"He needs to make the step up now and get some professional, full-time training and really test himself. Everyone at Horley Town is really excited for Ashley and looking forward to seeing where he ends up."
