Millwall seek legal advice over Carling Cup charges

Millwall are taking legal advice following the FA's decision to hit them with three charges in relation to the crowd trouble at their Carling Cup game at West Ham in August. "We have meetings with our legal advisors at the end of this week and then we will decide on a strategy," Millwall chief executive officer Andy Ambler told the Southwark News.

"We are trawling through all of the evidence that has been sent to us and we'll be getting a case together in due course. The club have until October 12 to respond to the charges.
