Millwall rubbishes talk of Paladini takeover

Millwall chairman John Berylson has cooled suggestions that he is set to sell to Gianni Paladini.

Recent reports indicated that the former QPR chairman was set to launch a £16million takeover for the south London club but Berylson has quickly rubbished those rumours.

"I have absolutely tno interest in selling Millwall to Mr Paladini, who I have never even met nor have any intention of meeting, or anyone else," Berylson said.

"I am as committed to this club as ever, and having just brought in Ian Holloway as our new manager I am very excited about the future. Ollie has pledged his future to Millwall for the next two and half years and hopefully beyond. I fully intend to be with him every step of the way."
