Millwall have made a move for Newcastle United striker Nile Ranger.
Ranger has been made available by Toon manager Alan Pardew.
The Sunday Sun says Ranger is wanted by Millwall, Birmingham City and Blackpool, but United do not want to loan him out and have turned down the Lions approach, as they did a move by Chris Hughton to re-sign the striker.
He turned down a move to Blackpool because of disagreements over personal terms - with the player not happy with the Tangerines' policy of only paying basic wages during the summer months.
