Millwall fans warned over behaviour ahead of Leeds clash

Millwall this week submitted their not guilty plea to the FA in relation to charges brought against them following the violence at the Carling Cup clash at West Ham in August. Ahead of the weekend clash with Leeds the Lions chief executive Andy Ambler is calling on the club's fans to be on their best behaviour as the powers that be will take a dim view of any disturbances on Saturday.

"The situation is that, with our biggest game of the season coming on Saturday, the FA will be watching us like a hawk and we would ask that the fans do their bit to ensure that there are no problems," Ambler told the Southwark News.

"We want supporters to come down in force and support the lads but they must remember that, as passionate or emotional as this game gets, they really must not come over the barrier and onto the pitch or throw any objects."
