Millwall have extended the loan of Aston Villa defender Shane Lowry to the end of January.

The Australian linked up with the Lions in November, agreeing a deal that was due to expire on 3rd January.

Millwall have been impressed by his level of performance during his time in the capital and have moved quickly to keep him at the club.

Villa are happy for Lowry to remain in the Championship, as he is some way down the pecking order under Alex McLeish.
