Millwall are chasing Reading defender Ian Harte.

The Mirror says Republic of Ireland veteran Harte, 35, has not played for Reading since being given the run-around by Aaron Lennon in the Royals' 3-1 defeat to Tottenham on September 16.

Manager Brian McDermott has told Millwall counterpart Kenny Jackett he is willing to allow the former Leeds left back to leave when the transfer window reopens.
