Millwall boss Willie Donachie has hit out at Premier League clubs for trying to "poach" the Lions' best young players.
Donachie is unhappy with the actions of the Premier League clubs and he has banned scouts from the club's training ground.
"We are wary - they're obviously trying to poach our players," fumed Donachie.
"We couldn't go to somewhere like Arsenal to watch their kids so we don't want them sniffing around here. I feel young players get a better chance at clubs like Millwall than ones in the Premier division.
"All the top clubs keep on buying foreign players, including Portsmouth, and I doubt if they've got a homegrown player in their side.
"I can understand the temptation for youngsters to go to a top flight side, but I've told Tom (Kilbey) and Sam (Walker) they will learn much more by remaining here. Portsmouth have made an offer to the club but I don't want to lose either of them."
