Millwall boss Kenny Jackett is delighted with their new deal for Steve Morison.
The striker attracted interest from West Ham United and Fulham during the January market.
"I think you always miss a player of Steve's ability and then you're looking at new partnerships as well and those partnerships are very important," Jackett said.
"I'm very pleased Steve has signed a new deal and he's optimistic about his future here and what we are going to do.
"You always think your phone's going to ring and a Premier League club is going to come in but that is always the likelihood when you're doing well as a club."
