Millwall boss Ian Holloway has welcomed the arrival of Andy Wilkinson from Stoke City.
Wilkinson made his debut for the Lions in Tuesday's 0-0 draw at Wigan... less than a day after joining on loan from Stoke.
Holloway purred afterwards: "Andy only arrived at the hotel on Monday night so didn't even have a chance to train with us out on the grass.
"But he looked like he had been there all his life. Andy is a very good, experienced player and he really wanted to come here.
"I'm delighted to have him on board and he settled in brilliantly.
"He played his part in what was a good defensive performance overall.
"We could have done one or two things better in attack, but you can see that we are improving."
