Millwall boss concerned as Lions slump to Burnley defeat

Millwall boss Kenny Jackett admits is looking at some new faces in order to halt the Lions' worrying start to the season. The Lions went down 1-0 at home to Burnley, meaning Millwall have now scored just once in seven games.

Jackett said: "It could be that we have to get someone in now.

"I don't think it's any secret that we just haven't scored enough goals this season and that is something we will try to address.

"I think we did everything but score in the second half. We had a disallowed goal, a penalty appeal and those things just happen like that when you are down on your luck.

"We've got a couple of weeks now because of the international break and I'll have a look at it again.

"Confidence is low in the dressing room - the players are obviously disappointed and one win in 10 games is obviously not good enough."

Burnley's clean sheet - their first in 23 games - pleased boss Eddie Howe.

"That was a real battle. To be honest, I don't think either side got going and that might be a bit down to the weather.

"It was very hot out there and I certainly never liked playing in heat like that.

"I was most pleased how we battled out there though - that was the most impressive part of our display.

"We are a completely different team to last year but I think the personnel we have here have a real togetherness and a will to play for each other.

"It's our first clean sheet in ages as well and that's a nice little lift to have. I thought Lee Grant in goal was magnificent."
