Milligan profile growing at Shanghai Shenhua

Mark Milligan's decision to move to Shanghai Shenhua has been vindicated with his call-up to the Australia squad this week. Milligan is in red-hot form for Shanghai, which has brought him again to the attention of major European clubs, but his player manager, Buddy Farah, insists the midfielder is settled in China.

"Mark is happy at Shanghai and is their highest profile player and most important foreigner," Farah told tribalfootball.com.

"The club is a big club in Asia and is always thereabouts in the Chinese Super League and Asian Champions League. Mark will always attract interest from potential suitors due to his age, pedigree as Australian youth team captain and being a current Socceroo.

"If he continues to do the talking on the pitch I'm sure that he will be destined for Europe one day."
