Kenny Miller believes that Rangers are now a better team thanks to their new signings - despite losing Carlos Cuellar to Aston Villa. Spanish centre-back Cuellar made a £9m move to Villa last month. However, Rangers have re-invested the cash by bringing in Madjid Bougherra, Maurice Edu, Pedro Mendes and Steve Davis.
"The new signings we made have definitely made us a far better team all round," Miller told the Scottish Sun.
"Obviously it was disappointing to lose Carlos, who was a big player for Rangers last season.
"But look at the guys who have come in. Madjid has been fantastic in that position, he's slotted right into the side brilliantly.
"Pedro in the middle of the park is tremendous with Davo beside him. They are fantastic footballers and we've seen that already.
"Our level of performance has definitely gone up. We have played some really fantastic stuff, and the results have also been very good," added Miller.
