Willie Miller has signed a new contract as Aberdeen football chief.
"It's good timing," Miller said of his new contract, "because I'm looking at commitment from the manager and his team and also the players for the next three years. From the club's point of view, it would be good to have everybody committed for that period of time and build on the success that Jimmy and the team have produced.
"As far as Jimmy is concerned, I am relaxed about that. I would hope that it would be sooner rather than later. But I want him to be confident in his own mind that this is the club for him to be at for the foreseeable future and to give the opportunity to manage at the very highest level."
