Miller delighted with new Man City job

Ian Miller is happy with his temporary promotion as Manchester City reserves coach.

He told City's website: "My background's been in Academies for a long time. I was at Blackburn for six years, I was at City as a youth coach the year before that a long time ago.

"A couple of years ago I got an opportunity to go with Colin Hendry to Blackpool as first team coach/assistant manager. I had a year and a bit there and it didn't quite work out.

"Last year I was first team coach at Leicester for the season, then the Chairman in his wisdom changed things around, as happens at that level. That was in June, so I've not been up to much since then really."
