Kenny Miller admits Derby County are simply playing for pride for the remainder of this season.
"We've got to be realistic as it is going to take a huge effort just to get back in touch with other teams, never mind stay up," said Miller, who has four goals this term following a £3million switch from Celtic.
"It looks like we are doomed to the Championship next year but we're playing for pride now. It was good to show some character at Birmingham. I certainly don't want to be getting beaten every week and even when it is mathematically impossible for us to stay up we will still be fighting every week."
