Crystal Palace captain Luka Milivojevic has hailed Roy Hodgson as the club's saviour.

The former England manager took over Ronald De Boer just five games into the season and helped steer the club from relegation.

And Milivojevic has lauded Hodgson for getting the best out of the Palace players.

"For me, I think he is the most important, for all of this happened with him," he said.

"Before him, we were the same squad, but when he came, he just takes the squad and puts the things in the right place and made our dressing room very strong, and we just follow his instructions.

"That's the reason why we are here today, and I think the most important person is him and it is because of him we are here now."
