Croatian club Hajduk Split are out of this season's Europa League competition after losing 2-0 to English Premier League outfit Stoke City.
The Potters saluted 1-0 in their home leg at Britannia Stadium last week before controlling proceedings at Stadion Poljud last night to record another 1-0 win to move into the play-off round of Europe's second tier club competition.
Former Newcastle Jets defender Ljubo Milicevic was unfortunate to get a touch on Stoke's only goal of the match when Dean Whitehead crossed for Ryan Shotton in the 91st minute.
Milicevic inadvertently bundled the ball past goalkeeper Danijel Subasic to end his side's run in the Europa League as Stoke progress to the next phase which will see 96 teams play off for the 48-club group stage.
It was a bad night for clubs from Split as RNK lost 2-0 to Mark Schwarzer's Fulham in Southwest London to lose their two-legged tie by that margin.
