AC Milan sources in Italy have reportedly told Sky Sports that the club is ready to sign Mario Balotelli from Manchester City.
The Rossoneri have not yet made an official offer for the former Inter Milan firebrand but it is believed they will soon as they look to give him another opportunity in the Serie A.
Balotelli has been linked with Milan for months but the general consensus was that it was simply speculation until both vice-president Adriano Galliani and manager Massimiliano Allegri commented favourably about taking the Italy international back to the San Siro.
