Finland midfielder Mika Vayrynen has joined Leeds United on a free transfer.
The 29-year-old last night signed a one-year deal at Elland Road after being without a club since leaving Heerenveen at the end of last season.
Ex-PSV Eindhoven star Vayrynen snubbed Red Bull Salzburg to join fellow Finland international Mikael Forssell in Yorkshire.
And Leeds boss Simon Grayson said: "Mika is an experienced midfielder and he has a fantastic pedigree.
"There were good offers from clubs on the continent but he has turned them down because of his ambition to play for Leeds.
"He's delighted to get the opportunity to come here."
