Fiorentina coach Sinisa Mihajlovic says poor refereeing is no excuse for their disappointing start to the season.

Per Kroldrup had a goal incorrectly ruled offside during the 1-0 defeat at Lecce, while in Week 1 Edinson Cavani's strike for Napoli had not crossed the line.

"We are not looking for an alibi," warned Mihajlovic. "We absolutely should've got the three points as, with all due respect, our quality is clearly superior to Lecce.

"We lacked sharpness and determination in front of goal, as well as the patience necessary to pass it around in an organised manner."
