Fiorentina coach Sinisa Mihajlovic is eager to play down expectations over new striker Santiago Silva.

Silva is expected to face Parma tonight.

Mihajlovic said: "We signed Santiago as an understudy to Gilardino, but he still needs to get used to Italian football and hasn't yet assimilated certain movements.

"Gilardino is more of a fox in the box, whereas Silva plays more of a part in the build-up.
