Mihajlovic pleased AC Milan alive in Coppa Italia

AC Milan boss Sinisa Mihajlovic was happy to overcome Coppa Italia opponents Perugia last night.

Keisuke Honda and Luiz Adriano scored in the 2-0 win.

"We did well,” Mihajlovic told RAI after the match.

“But we eased off after 2-0, and I didn’t like that, because you always have to play to the maximum.

“Everyone played their part, and it wasn’t easy. It was the first game, but we did things the right way and we have to continue like this.

“Rodrigo Ely and Alessio Romagnoli? They were good, they were alert and focused. We didn’t risk anything. It was a good test, but after 2-0 we had to push on.”
