Sinisa Mihajlovic has been named new coach of Bologna.

The former Inter Milan assistant boss has replaced Daniele Arrigoni, who was dismissed yesterday following their 5-1 thrashing by Cagliari.

The Serb will start his first game on Bologna's bench against fellow strugglers Roma on Sunday and is expected to name a Rossoblu legend as his assistant.

Former Italy goalkeeper Gianluca Pagliuca is among the front-runners for that position, as is Renato Villa.
