Fiorentina boss Sinisa Mihajlovic admits they've experienced a difficult summer transfer market.
Adrian Mutu has left for Cesena, while Riccardo Montolivo is likely to exit after refusing another contract extension.
"The club has done its all to keep hold of Montolivo, so now it's up to him. It won't be easy for him in an environment like Florence. I also told Gila not to think about the contract, as he seems to be really fired up.
"This year, as the last, our only objective is Europe. Last season nobody could've foreseen that many injuries, but this term we aim to finish in the top six or seven.
"It's true the transfer market is a little static, as we have to sell before we can buy, but I remain confident. There isn't much enthusiasm among the fans, but those of us working at the club have faith."
